As a naturalist, I work with material unique to my environment of Vancouver Island: crystals, stones, sea glass, lichens, flowers, naturally deceased critters and wood. Creating handmade crafts is a form of physical therapy for me. The idea was born in 2010 as a hobby to provide eye-hand coordinated activities to offset my digital work. My goal is to create unique pieces that you can cherish and incorporate into your unique lifestyle.

Nordic Inspired Objects

Inspired and spun into modern tools inspired by Nordic history: Staffs (gandr), pendulums, wands, necklaces and Seiðr tools made from crystals, stones, sea glass, feathers, and wood that originate from the natural world of Vancouver Island. All ethically handcrafted by me.

Wooden Wands and Staffs (åndestok)

Inspired by ancient Scandinavian history with my own twist. Wood sticks engraved with pictures and Nordic petroglyphs for meditation or home decor use. Hand engraved followed by a gentle stain and non-toxic varnish, or kept natural adorned with handmade charms.

Viking & Bronze Age Inspired Jewellery

Chunky beads made from gemstones, glass, stones, resin, plastic, up-cycled fixings, featuring large pendants either made by me from polymer clay or metal. Meant to be bold and take centre stage around the nape of the neck or wrist. Inspired by museum pieces I have seen in Denmark.

Sea Glass

Jewellery created with ethically hand-picked sea glass and up-cycled materials. Sea glass is picked from the beaches of Victoria BC and drilled by me. Who knew trash could be so show stopping? See more samples here.

Stones

Ethically hand-picked and tumbled stones and gemstones from the shores of Vancouver Island: Agate, basalt, jasper, quartz, quartzite. Use as chakra stones, massage tools, home decor and for your crystal grid layouts.

Resin

Resin pieces made with organic objects found on the forest floor during Shinrin-Yoku on Vancouver Island. These make great jewellery and meditation keepsakes. Made with eco-friendly Canadian resin. I can also incorporate ashes for memorial pendants.

Bracelets

Bracelets made with Vancouver Island sea glass, gemstones, resin beads and charms. People wear their bracelets for meditation and fashion.

Necklaces

Necklaces made of sea glass, crystals, stones and charms worn for protection and or decoration. Themes are often Nordic and nature in style.

Rings

Reflexology / massage / acupressure rings can be used as soothing tools for hands and feet. Made with a variety of materials: Danish ethically hand-picked amber, gemstone beads, and eco-friendly handmade resin. Roll rings up and down fingers from a soothing and stress-relieving experience. Best used when at the dentist or doctors, on a flight, or during any other nerve wracking time.

Cards

I am a designer and love making cards be it big or small. I enjoy making oracle, tarot and story cards that are unique. Images are built from my own photos and are combined with my drawings often drawing on nature and nordic themes, or a blend of both.
