Here are samples of my resin pieces consisting mostly of lichen and bees. I work with eco-friendly Canadian resin and make a variety of items such as orbs for pendants or keepsakes, bracelet beads, and earrings.

Resin is also the perfect medium for making memorial pieces that include a pet or loved one’s ashes. Ashes are carefully placed so that they are displayed throughout the resin rather than sink to the bottom, so that means curing the resin in layers and adding the content in stages. Ashes would be intermixed with green Usnea lichen as it doesn’t loose its colour over time. Ashes would appear like a cosmic sprinkle with natural forest colours, and can be cherished by the keeper or wearer as a memorial throughout their lives.
