Introducing seiðr inspired charm / trinket collections. These are a combination of animal motifs, nature themes and handmade objects. They are not meant to be just jewellery but also tools. Carry them in your hand, fiddle with them, look at them and focus on the images they conjure up. I like to hang them from a wooden stick, or hang them on a tree branch and let them sway while I sit quietly in nature. From an archeological perspective, it is thought that seiðr was a type of magical practice originating from Northern European prehistory and involves sitting and singing (or chanting) with a staff for the purpose of gaining insight. The graves of Scandinavian völvur have been found with staffs, jewellery, charms and talismans in pouches. There are also examples of seiðr given in Norse literature: Voluspa and Saga of Erik the Red are two known ones. This practice can be done alone or with other people. While not a magic practitioner myself, but rather a naturalist, I feel that having a trinket connects me more deeply to the place and mindful practice. I carried one around for four months while traveling abroad and really enjoyed them. These also are great distraction/stimming tools for those with adhd, autism and anxiety.
These pieces have a variation of things I have made and found such as lichen resin charms, maps of Vancouver Island, medicine bottles with owl feathers and dried mushrooms combined with charms of animals such as birds, bears, cougars and deers. These represent the wildlife found in my neighbourhood on Vancouver Island.

Each kit comes with an ethically hand-picked (quartz) forest crystal from Nootka Sound on Vancouver Island and a mini forest bath tarot card for visualization. These are now sold out but I hope to make more in the near future.
Note: These are open to everyone to use for whatever means you find helpful. They also make for lovely home decor.
